I was kidnapped today by my dear friends Rachel and Aaron. They threw me in the back of their van and sped over the Rimutukas. Here are some images I managed to snap on my phone’s camera.

We stopped and picked blackberries by the side of the road.

Then off to Aaron’s dad’s place. He has three Clydesdales (and two sheep called Baaaasil and Sheepish).

Aaron’s dad has about a squillion cars on his property. What follows are just some of them. One could spend an entire day fossicking through there.

Went to Pukaha Mount Bruce sanctuary. It was pretty cool. But some of the birds — kakariki and kaka — are in cages. We didn’t get to see the Kokako, it was hiding. Apparently it is sitting on an egg!
